Happy {Golden} Birthday, Elise & Avery!
The girls' "golden birthday" happens to also be their sixteenth... so it's a very sweet one, indeed! I can't get over the fact that my amazing, tiny little babies are about to (hopefully :)) get their drivers licenses. While this means my schedule is about to free up immensely, I also understand it means our time together is going to quickly decrease. Kyle and I lamented recently about how much we'll missed the forced family time in the car... but also realize that means we've been blessed with incredible young women who we actually really love being around. We're so proud of them, and trying to cherish every dance recital, track meet, musical and play, and even late night or early morning stressful study sessions. Time flies, you guys...

Somehow, in another example of the cruel thievery of time, I blinked and another year is gone. Nolan is turning twelve, which I just remembered was absolutely the hardest birthday for me with the girls. And they'll be sixteen soon. So there's that. The silent "arguments" are just so funny. My favorite is when they're turned around doing "not my fault!" to Geoff, and Geoff and Tony have the brief panicky WATCH THE ROAD!! moment. Although Eli buckling his seat belt and doing the "not one word" gesture while Tony silently judges him is priceless too. XD

It is such a fun place! I hope they reopen the Children's Museum soon. It's been closed for SO long, my kids barely remember the woods!
